Way before he made his debut in Bollywood, he garnered praise from none other than the king of Hindi cinema - Shah Rukh Khan.
A heartwarming instance unfolded in 2015 when Shah Rukh Khan expressed his admiration for Diljit during an interview. Diljit Dosanjh interviewed the team of ‘Dilwale,’ for PTC and that is when he came face to face with the legendary Shah Rukh Khan. In a moment that transcended stardom, SRK, acknowledged Diljit's work and said he has seen Dosanjh’s films and is a big fan. He described Diljit’s acting as world-class.

Shah Rukh Khan, in a candid moment, admitted that such interactions with a superstar of Diljit's stature were a rarity. Further, he knelt and held Diljit's hand, and confessed, "Diljit, I love you from the core of my mind." Caught off guard, Diljit, in his signature humility, could only respond with a bashful "Hayo rabba."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Diljit Dosanjh is making headlines in both Bollywood and Pollywood.
