Throwback to the time when Salman Khan got drunk on the sets of Chal Mere Bhai

, who was last seen in the blockbuster film ‘Tiger 3’, has a massive fan following nationwide owing to his groundbreaking career and some of the industry’s biggest hits. Salman is primarily known for his acting prowess but he has also left a mark with his frequent appearances on reality and talk shows. Recently, an incident from his earlier films has been going around on the internet.
During an eight years old ‘Koffee With Karan' episode, host Karan Johar enquired Salman about incidents of being

intoxicated

Initially denying the claims, Salman eventually revealed about an incident that took place on the sets of the film ‘

Chal Mere Bhai

’. In the said scene, which also featured Sanjay Dutt, both actors had to act

drunk

for their characters. Salman, who struggled to achieve the desired result, consumed a few drinks to enhance his performance naturally. However, he quickly became intoxicated as he consumed the drinks on an empty stomach, and was eventually unable to lip-sync the song’s lyrics accurately. Consequently, the day’s shoot had to be rescheduled because of the unexpected circumstances.
Directed by Deepak Shivdasani and David Dhawan, ‘Chal Mere Bhai’ was a comedy film, which was released in the year 2000. Apart from Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, the film also starred Karisma Kapoor in prominent roles. It received a good response from the audience and was much loved for the on-screen chemistry between Salman and Sanjay.
On the work front, after the success of blockbuster film ‘Tiger 3’, Salman Khan has reportedly several interesting projects in her kitty which includes ‘The Bull’, ‘Kick 2’ and ‘Tiger vs. Pathaan’, among others.
