Belkin Auto-Tracking Stand Pro: Key details

Belkin’s latest Auto-Tracking Stand Pro is the first-ever accessory to work with

DockKit

, which is its proprietary object location-tracking technology. The company’s press release confirms that the new Stand Pro provides automatic, silent, motorised, camerawork using iPhone’s built-in camera.
DockKit’s automated subject tracking technology helps the stand to follow subjects on camera as they move around their space with 360 degrees of pan and 90 degrees of tilt. Belkin claims that this is the perfect accessory for immersive video calls or recording interactive content that involves a lot of movement.

The stand pairs with iPhones through MagSafe to capture users as they move. For using this stand, users won’t need any camera person or a third-party app.
While moving, the stand can also charge the

iPhone

at the same time with fast wireless charging of up to 15W if the Stand Pro is plugged in. Movement tracking with DockKit always keeps users in frame no matter how many times they circle the room.
With this stand, iPhones can capture at any angle using front or rear cameras with automatic video angle adjusting for going high or low. Users can also turn movement tracking on or off with a single button and an LED light will indicate if the tracking is active.
The stand also has a rechargeable battery that helps the dock provide 5 hours of battery life for capturing content on the go even when there’s no power. The stand also has a 5-foot USB-C cable that offers 30W power supply.
The Auto-Tracking Stand Pro is made with a minimum of 75% PCR materials and will be sold in plastic-free packaging.
