The CTVISIT website says Connecticut is taking its "unapologetic pizza pride to the streets (and ego) of NYC with a billboard blitz that dares New Yorkers to admit their pizza isn’t as good as Connecticut’s."

The majority of New Yorkers walking past one of the signs on Sixth Avenue and West 10th didn't even break their stride to look at the sign. People we asked about it had plenty to say.

Alex Joe said, "I know Connecticut. I tried Connecticut, Manhattan has the best pizza. Shalia Ferguson said of the sign, "Oh no, that's a lie. New York is the best."

Jimy Graham added that Connecticut is "Just trolling. I guess trolling is trendy now, I guess, trendy trolling. What makes New York pizza? New York pizza is the music, the jazz, the blues, the people, the rhythm."
