Wednesday promises mostly sunny skies in the afternoon with temperatures well above average. The high will be 88 in the city, mid to upper 80s for coastal areas and low to mid 90s over inland spots.
Thursday will be sunny and continued hot as high pressure will remain firmly anchored over the region. The high will be 92 in the city, upper 80s over coastal areas, low to mid 90s inland.
Friday will be sunny and hot with a chance of a scattered afternoon shower or thunderstorm. The high will be 96 in the city, low to mid 90s in the suburbs. Heat index values will get close to 100 degrees in the city.
Saturday will be partly sunny with showers and thunderstorms as a weak cold front will pass through the area. Temperatures will be noticeably cooler with a high of 87 in the city, mid to upper 80s in the suburbs.
Sunday will be partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will heat up again into the low to mid 90s for much of the region.
Monday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms as a front will move through the area. The high will be 87 in the city, mid to upper 80s in the suburbs.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny and less humid with a high of 89 in the city, mid to upper 80s in the suburbs.
