HYDERABAD: The
state govt
on Monday
cancelled
the Group-1 services notification that was released in April 2022, and issued a fresh notification for 563 vacancies. The
Telangana State Public Service Commission
(TSPSC) said the decision has been taken after deliberating in detail about various issues concerning the previous notification.
"Having taken totality of the circumstances into account, the commission has decided to cancel the notification no. 04/2022 issued on 26/04/2022 for 503 vacancies in the public interest," a release from the commission read.
The commission also released another notification -- 02/2024 dated February 19, 2024. While the earlier notification had notified 503 vacancies, the Congress govt added another 60 posts and released a notification to fill 563 vacancies.
Applications for Gp 1 from Feb 23
Applications are invited online from qualified candidates through proforma application to be made available on the commission's website (https://www.tspsc.gov.in) from Feb 23 to March 14 for the various categories of posts under Group-I Services," the notification read. The Group-1 preliminary examination has been cancelled twice in the past.
