Teen shot in neck in the Bronx: NYPD

MELROSE, the Bronx (PIX11) -- A 17-year-old boy was shot in the neck in the Bronx Thursday afternoon, police said.

The shooting happened near 762 Cauldwell Ave. in Melrose around 4:15 p.m., according to the NYPD. The teen was hospitalized and is expected to survive, authorities said.

No arrests have been made.

Additional information about the shooting wasn't immediately available.
