Teen dies after getting beaten by Class 6 student outside school in Delhi

A 14-year-old boy in Delhi died after a fight with a Class 6 student at his school. The incident took place on Friday, outside their school, the police said.

The two boys, aged 14 and 12, got into a fight over a trivial issue. However, the situation escalated when the accused, a 12-year-old boy, punched the victim, severely injuring the older boy, according to the police.

The victim sustained injuries to his head, face, and left hand during the fight.

Despite medical efforts, the boy died of his injuries, primarily due to excessive bleeding.

The police used CCTV footage from the area to identify the young accused, who was arrested on Friday evening, news agency PTI reported.

A case has been registered in the matter, and further investigation is ongoing.
