New Zealand all-rounder

Corey Anderson has been nominated to the US team for the

T20 World Cup

in June.
Anderson played in two T20 World Cups for New Zealand and was a member of the side that lost to Australia in the 50-overs World Cup final in 2015.
The 33-year-old made his debut for his adopted nation in the home T20 series against Canada last month; he last played for New Zealand in 2018.

Monank Patel

, the wicketkeeper-battler for the co-hosts of the competition, will continue to lead the 15-player team.

The same squad will play three Twenty20 International matches in Houston against Bangladesh before facing Canada in Dallas on June 1st in the World Cup opener.
