Suspect charged after dismembered body found in Brooklyn home: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A man was arrested and charged Friday in connection with a dismembered body found in a fridge inside a Brooklyn home in January, authorities said.

Nicolas McGee, 45, of Brooklyn, was charged with murder, robbery, concealment of a human corpse, and tampering with physical evidence, authorities report.

Another Brooklyn resident was arrested in connection to the incident on Jan. 26. Heather Stines, 45, was charged with concealment of a human corpse.

Officers went to Stines’ home on Nostrand Avenue in Flatbush for a wellness check on Jan. 22, authorities said. That's when officers noticed a fridge that was taped and discovered the dismembered body of a man inside, authorities said.

Investigators identified the victim as 40-year-old Kawsheen Gelzer from Brooklyn.
