Ravi Teja

's starrer was postponed and did not hit theaters during the last

Sankranthi

, as there were many other superstar movies lined up. This decision has sparked controversy as Ravi’s film was initially touted to be a ‘solo release’ by its producers.

Sundeep Kishan

addressed this issue at his film’s trailer launch event on Thursday, January 18, clarifying that he was not informed about the supposed ‘

solo release

promise’.
During the trailer launch, Sundeep was questioned about the clash between his film and Ravi Teja’s ‘Eagle’, especially after producer Dil Raju had 'promised' a solo release. Sundeep explained that he originally wanted his movie to be released on Sankranti, but with movies like Mahesh Babu’s ‘Guntur Kaaram’ and Teja Sajja’s ‘Hanu-Man’ also releasing on the same day, they reconsidered the timing. He mentioned that several other horror, fantasy, and magic genres were also releasing around that time, making it an inopportune moment for their film. Hence, they decided to push the release date further.

Sundeep emphasized that he is a huge fan of Ravi Teja and was completely unaware of any promises made by the ‘Eagle’ movie team regarding a solo release. Despite the significance of the chosen date for Sundeep and the team of ‘Ooru Peru Bhairavakona’, they expressed their willingness to engage in a discussion with the 'Eagle' team regarding the release date.

Directed by Vi Anand, ‘Ooru Peru Bhairavakona’ stars Sundeep and Varsha Bollamma in the main roles. It is a fantasy thriller that features Kavya Thapar in a vital role. The recently released trailer suggests that the movie is related to the religious book Garuda Puranam. The background score is done by Shekar Chandra.
