NEW JERSEY (PIX11) -- This summer, Jersey Shore towns are establishing a curfew for teenagers to avoid incidents such as wild parties on boardwalks and beaches.
The curfew applies to those under the age of 18, who aren't accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, local officials said. Teens who are caught outside during curfew might be stopped by police.
There are exceptions to the curfew, including traveling to and from work, events, or recreational activities with adult supervision.
North Wildwood's curfew comes with a potential fine between $250 to $1,500, according to reports.
