Student, 15, stabbed in the chest near Queens high school: sources

JAMAICA, Queens (PIX11) --- A 15-year-old student was stabbed in the chest on his way to a Queens high school Wednesday morning, according to police and sources.

The boy was attacked by August Martin High School near Baisley and Guy R Brewer Boulevards in Jamaica at around 8:08 a.m., according to the NYPD and sources.

The teen was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover, police said.

Police are searching for three suspects in connection to the incident. There have been no arrests.
