LONG ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A special delivery Wednesday on Long Island when seven puppies from the Middle East arrived on U.S. soil after a dangerous mission was completed.
The puppies were stray animals "adopted" by soldiers deployed to the area. The bond was so strong that, upon completing their service in two months, the soldiers did not want to leave their beloved pets behind. One local nonprofit sprang into action.
