The 'Stranger Things' star Millie Bobby Brown married model Jake Bongiovi in a secret ceremony. They took the wedding vows last week in the presence of their family members.
Millie and Jake, who is also the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, are officially husband and wife. The couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony over the weekend, surprising fans who had been eagerly awaiting news of their next chapter.
According to The Sun, Bongiovi's parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi were in attendance along with Brown's parents. "It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows." The outlet also reported that the couple is planning a larger, ceremony later this year.
This low-key approach comes in contrast to the couple's engagement announcement in April 2023, which garnered significant media attention. Despite some initial surprise surrounding their young age (Brown was 20 and Bongiovi 22 at the time), the couple has consistently received strong support from their families.
News of the wedding comes just two months after Brown's 'Stranger Things' co-star, Matthew Modine, playfully revealed he would be officiating the ceremony. Details about the location and specifics of the ceremony are currently private.
