HYDERABAD: A 24-year-old
woman
UPSC aspirant, who allegedly
morphed
and posted images of a 39-year-old UPSC faculty at a private institute and an advocate at Telangana high court, on social media platforms, was arrested from Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday.
The accused woman also morphed images of the man’s children, aged 11 and two years, with
nude
videos and images and circulated the morphed images on all social media platforms and among messaging platforms.
The reason, when she proposed to him, he rejected it saying that he was already married.
Police said the woman, hailing from Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, joined the coaching centre, where the victim was a faculty. She was preparing for civils and also Group-I entrances. In the process, she proposed to the faculty and when he rejected her proposal, she felt upset.
Nursing a grudge, she collected his pictures and those of his family members from social media platforms, and morphed them. She then created fake accounts on Instagram and Youtube and started uploading the morphed images over official Instagram pages of the high court, civils coaching centre, various media channels among the student community, his relatives and also sent them to his wife.
Based on technical evidence, Cyber Crime police of Hyderabad nabbed her from Anantapur. Later, she was brought to the city and produced before court, which has sent her in judicial remand.
