over a deleted moment that held special significance to her.
Choi Hye Seon shared her feelings on fellow contestant Son Won Ik's YouTube channel, where they were reacting episodes of ‘Single’s Inferno 3’. As the duo approached the Paradise dates in their watch party, Hye Seon opened up about a scene that didn't make it to the aired episodes, leaving her disheartened. During their their conversation, Hye Seon revealed that she had a strong desire to share a meal of chicken with
Son Won Ik
during their time on the show. As quoted by Koreaboo, recounting their pre-date discussions about favorite foods, Hye Seon expressed, "I really wanted to feed you chicken". To her surprise, Son Won Ik shared the sentiment, expressing, “I know, we talked about chicken before we went there. The funny thing is chicken is my favorite food like I said before, but you said you don’t eat chicken very often, so I really wanted to have chicken with you”.
In a heartfelt moment, Hye Seon reminisced about the conversation that sparked the idea. "Really? That’s what you were thinking? For me, because when I was talking to others, I never really talked about random things like that, but then I randomly asked you, “What’s your favorite food?” You know? “What do you want to eat the most right now?” I asked you that question then you smiled and said, “Chicken…” So, I thought to myself, “I must order chicken to the room".
Despite the anticipation and planning, these meaningful scenes of Hye Seon and Son Won Ik enjoying chicken together in Paradise did not make it to the final cut of the show. Their disappointment was palpable as they reflected on the untelevised moments of shared laughter and enjoyment. Son Won Ik confirmed the reality of their off-screen chicken feast, saying, "We actually had chicken!" Hye Seon echoed the sentiment, expressing her disappointment over the omission, "Yes, but it never made it to the show, so I was so disappointed!"
