Just like losing weight needs a mix of eating better and moving more, feeling mentally light means dealing with our thoughts and actions. Our minds can get heavy with negative feelings like worry, anger, and greed. To feel lighter, we have to let go of these emotions.
In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna talks about letting go of three big mental burdens: wanting things too much, getting angry, and being too greedy. He says we can learn to control our minds and not let these feelings control us. When Arjuna, a student, asks if it's possible to stay calm no matter what happens, Krishna says yes.
