PRAYAGRAJ: Angry over repeated reprimands for addiction to online gaming, a 24-year-old murdered his mother, stuffed the body inside a gunny bag, loaded it on a

tractor trolley

and disposed it by riverside in UP's Fatehpur district. Police recovered the body on Saturday and arrested him.
Police said Himanshu Singh was addicted to online game Zupee and was in Rs 4 lakh debt. Roshan Singh, Himanshu's father, lodged FIR accusing the son of killing his mother, Prabha (50), when he was on a tour to Chitrakoot.
Himanshu confessed to the crime on Saturday. "He said he stole his mother's jewellery to pay off debts so his parents would frequently rebuke him. Once they abused him in front of several people," said Rai. Feeling humiliated, Himanshu planned the

murder

when his father was out of station.
