The Kerala-born batsman played a stellar innings, scoring an unbeaten 68* off just 38 balls, featuring seven fours and two sixes, at a striking rate of 178.95.
This marked Samson's 23rd fifty for Rajasthan Royals and his 25th score of fifty-plus when including his two centuries.
In contrast, Jos Buttler has scored 24 fifty-plus scores for Rajasthan Royals, comprising six centuries and 18 fifties. Overall, Samson has amassed 3,649 runs in 131 matches for the franchise, boasting an average of 31.45 and a strike rate exceeding 139.86, including two centuries and 23 fifties.
