‘Ye Maaya Chesave’. Samantha took to her Instagram account to mark these long years and shared a trending Twitter hashtag about the same. Soon, Lady Superstar Nayanthara wished Samantha on her long journey in the film industry.
On February 25, Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to her Instagram account and shared a video of her counting the years with her fingers.
The actress can be seen acting cute with her facial expressions, marveling at ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ completing 14 years since its release. She added the song ‘Ee Hridayam’ from the movie with the composition of AR Rahman. She captioned the video, “14 years already, whaaaaa”. The next clip features a screenshot of trending Twitter hashtags, among which #14yearsofsamanthalegacy is included. She wrote, “Could have been a little more subtle but what the heck... I love you mostest”.

Soon, Nayanthara took to her Instagram story and shared a picture of Samantha to say, “Congratulations on 14 years, Sam! More power to you.”
Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ had a Tamil version from the same director titled, “Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa’ starring Trisha Krishna and Simbu. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya married in 2017 and they separated in 2021. Samantha was seen going through a tough time after their separation and she was diagnosed with Myositis in 2022. She took a hiatus for a year and resumed working this month.
Samantha was last seen in Vijay Deverakonda starrer ‘Kushi’ and is gearing up for her upcoming action thriller film ‘Citadel’ with Varun Dhawan. On the other hand, she launched her health podcast ‘Take20’ last week, in which she opened up about her autoimmune disease and separation from Naga Chaitanya.
