KANPUR: Saifai Holi, known for the combo of `gulal', rose petals and 'phag', was back in glory after almost a year, when almost every members of the Yadav-clan shared the stage and celebrated the festival of colours with much gusto, on Sunday.
Last year, due to the demise of Samajwadi Patron-Mulayam Singh Yadav, a simple Holi Milan program was organized in Saifai.
On the occasion, Samajwadi Party chief

, made a big attack on the Modi government and said that due to its actions, the Modi government has now become a `wasuli sarkar' and is gaining fame all over the World.

Akhilesh Yadav said that donations are given voluntarily by anyone, but under the pressure of Modi government, extortion is being done forcibly from the people through ED CBI.
"Tell me, how strange is it that if a person gives money to another person then they are saying that it is black money and if the same company gives it to BJP then it is a donation. BJP is doing all this to hide its deeds. Be careful with BJP, they can do anything," he said.
He reminded people that they all have to continue their fight against injustice.
"This is not just the Lok Sabha election of 2024, but it is the election of the future of our country," he said and added, "The future of the country as well as the future of the coming generation is going to be decided. That is why I said on many occasions that this time the constitution is going to be churned in the same manner as the ocean was churned. In this constitutional churning, there are those who want to save the constitution and on the other side there are those who want to abolish the constitution."
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav's uncles and party stalwarts Shivpal Yadav and Ramgopal Yadav, besides other prominent members of the Yadav clan including former MP Dharmendra Yadav, were present at the Saifai Kothi.Holi of ‘gulal’ and flowers-petals amid `Phag' singing was introduced by Mulayam Singh Yadav in Saifai when he had won his first assembly election from Jaswantnagar in 1967. Since the inception of the tradition, almost every member of the

ensures their presence in Saifai on the Holi day.
