Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat to shoot for 'Jewel Thief' in real locations in South Mumbai: Report

Robbie Grewal

's film '

Jewel Thief

', promising an exciting watch. The heist thriller started filming in February and is now getting ready for its second schedule in Mumbai in April, followed by a final schedule in Europe.
According to mid-day, the first schedule saw the actors filming action sequences and dramatic scenes and they will kick start the next schedule from April 7.

Saif and Jaideep will reportedly shoot critical portions across real locations in south and suburban Mumbai for 20 days. As for their Europe schedule, the team will reportedly shoot some songs and an action sequence.
Get ready for an intense showdown as Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat's characters will indulge in a fierce face off in this thriller, scripted by Grewal, Sidharth Anand, and Samit Mishra. Featuring high-stakes robbery, 'Jewel Thief' marks Saif's first collaboration with Ahlawat, who recently appeared alongside Khan's wife,

Khan, in 'Jaane Jaan' (2023). Grewal is known for directing 'Aakhri Sach' (2023) and 'RAW: Romeo Akbar Walter' (2019).
Ever since the film was announced last May, rumours have been doing rounds that it is a remake of Dev Anand's 1967 thriller of the same name, however Grewal has clarified that his 'Jewel Thief' has a completely different plot.
