Sachin Tendulkar plays football with little girls on his birthday

Sachin Tendulkar, the 'God of Cricket,' has managed to win everyone's hearts, not just with his spectacular batting, but also his heart-warming gestures. As the batting maestro turned 51 on April 24, Wednesday, Sachin chose to celebrate his birthday with the underprivileged girls in Mumbai.

In a special video released on Sachin's handle on 'X', the legendary cricketer called his wife, Anjali Tendulkar, as the captain of the team. Sachin engaged in a football match with the young girls and Anjali was a great support to him as she interacted with the children. Sachin revealed that he had a lot of fun, playing football with the young girls and revealed that they were the first ones to wish him on his birthday.

The underprivileged girls were associated with the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation. In the heartwarming video, Sachin was spotted being served food on banana leaves and was fed with watermelon and other fruits. He also cut this birthday cake as everyone sang the birthday song for the legend. The girls also gave a tough competition to Sachin during the game of football as they played with full confidence, rather than being intimidated.

They were the first ones to wish me and it made my week truly special!" the post's caption read.

Meanwhile, wishes started pouring in for one the greatest cricketers to have played the game as the cricketing fraternity lauded Sachin for his achievements. Many former and current players recalled Sachin's accolades and how he has inspired many generations to come with his performances.
