QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Police are searching for multiple suspects in connection to robberies in Brooklyn and Queens.
The incidents occurred during currency exchanges, according to sources.
The first reported incident happened at noon on Monday, May 27. A 27-year-old victim met with an unidentified on 39th Avenue in Queens. At this time, two others arrived and the three assaulted the victim and forcibly stole property, police said.
Later that day at around 4:05 p.m., an 18-year-old female victim met with an unidentified individual on 19th Avenue in Brooklyn. The suspect stole property and fled the scene, officials said.
On June 9, two victims met with an unidentified individual on Pople Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. Two others arrived, displayed a firearm, and assaulted both victims, according to the NYPD. The suspects stole approximately $32,000 and other property, police said.
The fourth incident happened at around 11:20 a.m. on June 10. Two victims met with an unidentified individual at Pidgeon Meadow Road and Fresh Meadow Lane in Queens, police said. Four others arrived, displayed a firearm, and assaulted one of the victims before stealing $10,700 and other property.
Police have released the following images of two suspects.
