Ravichandran to direct Premaloka 2

The shoot of a second instalment of

blockbuster hit

Premaloka which was a run-away success at the

box office

in the 1980’s period will began from May 30. The movie will be directed by

Ravichandran

which will also see his son

Manoranjan

in a pivotal role.
Premaloka which had Ravichandran and

Juhi Chawla

in lead roles set a new trend in the history of

Sandalwood

At a public event in

Kanakagiri

, Ravichandran said, “The film will see my two sons acting in it. Manoranjan will be the main protagonist and Vikram will be seen in a special cameo and I will be seen in a

father's role

. There will be as many as 25 songs in the film which is being made to ensure that it reaches people of all age groups. The whole plot takes place amidst the people. Love has taken different shapes all these years, but this one will add a new dimension.”

Ravichandran who is known as dream merchant of Kannada cinema redefined romanticism in Sandalwood is wearing director’s hat once again with the much-anticipated

Premaloka 2

Ravichandran is also currently shooting for the film KD and The Judgement which is a courtroom drama, and he is also seen in a weekend television reality show. He also signed a new project titled as Parvasha. The project which is directed by Sudheendhra Nadiger has Raghu Bhat and Sonal Monteiro in lead roles.
