After his visit to the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, Rajinikanth has now traveled from Chennai to Dehradun to embark on his Himalayan journey.

After his BAPS Hindu Mandir visit in Abu Dhabi, Rajinikanth departed from Chennai and reached Dehradun, Uttarakhand, to initiate his pilgrimage. The legendary actor spoke about his spiritual trip to ANI at Dehradun airport.
Rajinikanth told ANI, “Every year I used to get new experiences that make me continue my spiritual journey again and again. I believe even this time, (I) will get new experiences.”
Further, the ‘Lal Salaam’ actor explained how these trips are important to him. “The whole world needs spirituality, as it's important for every human being. Being spiritual means experiencing peace and tranquility, and fundamentally, it involves believing in God,” he concluded.

Previously, Rajinikanth received the UAE's Golden Visa from the Department of Culture and Tourism. A video of the 'Jailer' actor thanking the Abu Dhabi government and MA Yusuff Ali, chairman and managing director of Lulu Group, is now doing the rounds on social media. The actor also visited the popular Abu Dhabi Mandir during his trip.
Meanwhile, on the work front, he recently wrapped up the shooting of director TJ Gnanavel's 'Vettaiyan'. The film will release in theatres in October 2024. Soon, Rajinikanth will begin shooting for director Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Coolie'.
