enough for empowering women through the portrayal of strong characters. Talking about the medium, which is predominantly women-oriented, she says, “It’s been a decade since I joined television, yet I still feel as if I started yesterday. Despite the criticism about television being regressive or constantly showcasing saas-bahu sagas, we have seen some great stories featuring strong female characters on the medium. There is no doubt that you cannot make a show without us, and thankfully, we have been and will always be an integral part of television shows. Women remain the backbone of television shows and will continue to do so.”

Her acting journey has been filled with both struggles and triumphs. Taking a cue from her journey while advising aspirant actors, she says, “There may be thousands of newcomers and fresh faces arriving in Mumbai every day. As an experienced person in this industry, I want to tell them not to rush into it, as some may fall prey to the challenges of this industry. Take your time, because if something is meant to happen, it will, even if it takes numerous attempts. Trust your instinct, as it plays a crucial role in shaping your path. Most importantly, never stop learning. As an actor, I approach each day with openness and a willingness to learn and grow. Trust me when I say this –there is still ample room for improvement.”
