Queens man kills teen, self in love-triangle dispute: sources

BAYSIDE, Queens (PIX11) --- A man shot and killed a teen who was dating his ex-girlfriend before turning the gun on himself in Queens on Saturday night, according to police sources.

Neo Secaira, 17, was fatally shot in the chest and Frank Liu, 28, died of a gunshot wound to the head near Oceania Street and 48th Avenue in Bayside at 10:08 p.m., according to the NYPD.

They were rushed to the hospital but could not be saved, police said.

Secaria was dating Liu's ex-girlfriend, sources said. It was unclear if the woman witnessed the shootings.

There have been 148 shootings and 173 shooting victims citywide through April 6, according to NYPD data. There have been 68 murders during the same time period, police said.
