BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- Police are looking for a driver who they say hit and killed a woman in Brooklyn on Sunday.
According to authorities Tiffany Cifuni, 32, was driving her Toyota on Van Buren Street just before midnight on Saturday, when her vehicle was hit from behind by a person driving a maroon Chevy.
Cifuni got out of her vehicle and began approaching the person who hit her, but that's when the Chevy driver sped off, hitting and dragging the 32-year-old, police say.
The victim appeared to be a pregnant woman, Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso said in an interview with PIX11 Morning News.
The runaway Chevy driver turned onto Marcus Garvey Boulevard and continued onto Lafayette Avenue where they hit a parked, unoccupied Volkswagen SUV, officials report.
The driver still continued and went against traffic on Lafayette Avenue where they hit another 38-year-old motorist driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee, according to authorities.
At that point, the Chevy driver finally jumped out of the car and ran down Lafayette Avenue.
