BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Police shot and killed a person in Brooklyn Tuesday night, sources said.
The incident happened near Pennsylvania and Seaview avenues in East New York around 8:15 p.m., according to the NYPD.
Police fatally shot a suspect who was a motorist, sources said.
The officers are all OK, sources said.
Police are now searching the nearby area for evidence.
"Due to police activity, please avoid the vicinity of Pennsylvania Ave and Seaview Ave in Brooklyn. Expect emergency vehicles and delays in the surrounding area," the NYPD shared on X.
