were 26 motorcycles worth Rs 22 lakh, two four wheelers worth Rs 25 lakhs, an autorickshaw worth Rs 50,000, two bicycles worth Rs 15,000, six cell phones worth Rs 88,000, gold jewellery worth Rs 4.05 lakh and other articles worth Rs 7.99 lakh and cash of over Rs 10,000.

DCP (Zone 2) Monica Raut said, the

return

of the stolen articles, cash, etc were called as Muddemal was done as per the guidance of CP Sandeep Karnik. She said that the Muddemal disposal officer of every police station under Zone 2 was made abreast with CP Karnik's citizen-oriented role.
The officials concerned under the guidance of DCP Raut, ACP Shekhar Deshmukh, ACP Sachin Bari completed all the necessary legal procedures and returned the articles to the respective people who had registered complaints about their stolen or robbed cash and articles.
