Poco C61 specs leaked on Google Play Console: What to expect

Poco

launched the X6 Neo smartphone in India earlier this week. The company is now said to be working on another budget C-series smartphone that is also expected to launch soon. According to a report by GizmoChina, the

Poco C61 smartphone

has already been listed on the Google Play Supported Devices list. This listing suggests that the company is expected to launch the smartphone soon.

The Poco C61 will succeed the affordable Poco C51 model that was launched last year in April.
As per the listing, the smartphone comes with the model number 2312BPC51H. and also confirms the name, Poco C61. No other details about the upcoming smartphone are available from Google’s listing for the moment.
Apart from this, the Poco C61 has also received

Bluetooth SIG certification

. The phone was spotted on the BIS certification database with the same model number as in the Play Store listing.
Moreover, the smartphone's model number is similar to

Redmi A3

(23129RN51H) in all the certifications. This suggests that the upcoming Poco C61 is likely be a rebranded version of the

Redmi

phone.

Poco C61: What to expect

If the rumours are to be true, Poco C61 is expected to arrive with specifications similar to the already available Redmi A3 smartphone.

Last month,

Xiaomi

launched the Redmi A3 in India. The smartphone sports a 6.7-inch LCD screen that supports HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Redmi A3 comes powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset which is backed up with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.

For photography, the Redmi A3 houses a an 8MP rear camera along with a 0.08MP secondary sensor and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. Like other budget smartphones, this one also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and a dedicated MicroSD card slot. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port for charging.
For connectivity, the smartphone offers dual SIM support, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3 and GNSS. The Redmi A3 also packs a 5,000mAh battery unit that supports 10W charging and runs Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.
