Pics: Alia Bhatt slays in black velvet saree at London premiere of 'Poacher'

Alia Bhatt recently attended a special screening of her forthcoming web series, 'Poacher', in London, for which she is serving as the executive producer. She shared several photos from the event on social media.

For the occasion, she adorned herself in a stunning Sabyasachi black velvet saree with golden border, complemented by an elaborate pearl necklace and earrings. She styled her hair into a loose bun for the evening.

She posted the pictures with the caption, " All dressed up for a very special day. p.s. #PoacherOnPrimeâ€æ releasing this Friday, 23rd Feb (sic)."

She was accompanied by her mother, Soni Razdan, and sister, Shaheen Bhatt. Alia posted a range of pictures, including a black and white one with Shaheen, and a picture shared by Soni of all three of them in the audience.

Alia was also seen on stage with the team of 'Poacher'. Soni was seen in a black dress, while Shaheen wore pink ethnic attire. The event was also attended by actor Freida Pinto and film director Gurinder Chadha. Prime Video India also shared photos from the event on Instagram and wrote, "the echoes of the jungle take over London at this special screening tonight! #PoacherOnPrime, Feb 23 (sic)."

'Poacher' is an eight-part crime drama based on true events, uncovering the largest ivory poaching ring in Indian history. The show, which will start streaming on Prime Video on February 23, features Nimisha Sajaya, Roshan Mathew, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in key roles.
