Person struck by train in Queens; No. 7 subway trains delayed: MTA

SUNNYSIDE, Queens (PIX11) – A person was struck by a train in Queens early Monday, causing delays to No. 7 subway trains, according to the MTA.

It happened at the 40th Street-Lowery Street subway station in Sunnyside. The man who was struck was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, according to the NYPD.

No. 7 trains are running in delays in both directions. The MTA suggests taking E, F or N subway trains between Queens and Manhattan.

No criminality is expected.
