PBKS become second team to register most successive wins vs CSK

NEW DELHI: With their seven-wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings in the IPL clash, Punjab Kings (PBKS) etched their name in record books, becoming the second team to secure the most successive wins against CSK in the tournament's history.

helped Punjab Kings to a comfortable win over the defending champions on Wednesday. Chasing 163 for victory, Punjab rode on Bairstow's 46 and 43 by Rossouw to achieve victory with 13 balls to spare at Chennai's M Chidambaram Stadium.
The victory took PBKS’ tally to five between 2021 and 2024, while Mumbai Indians were the first team to achieve it between 2018 and 2019.

Delhi Capitals have also done it on four occasions from 2020 to 2021 and Rajasthan Royals also posted four successive wins against CSK between 2021 and 2023.
