Paytm to power online payments during Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya

has signed a

memorandum of understanding

(MoU) with

Ayodhya Nagar Nigam

. This will help the company that deals in QR and

mobile payments

to enable Nagar Nigam facilities with mobile payments options. For payments,

Paytm

users will be able to make payments using QR code, soundbox and card machines.

How this partnership will help users
This partnership is aimed at providing seamless mobile payment services during the much-anticipated inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. With this, the company will enable mobile payments at various departments in collaboration with

Ayodhya

Nagar Nigam.
Through this MoU, the company will also deploy Paytm card machines at cash collection centres under

State Nagar Nigam

departments. This MoU was signed in presence of Girish Pati Tripathi, Mayor of Ayodhya Nagar Nigam. With such projects, the company is taking mobile payments far and wide as well as driving financial inclusion across the country.

Paytm continues to strengthen its leadership in the in-store payments ecosystem. The company supplied more than 92 lakh Paytm devices which includes soundbox, card machines and more in the quarter that ended in Sep 2023.
