Oppo to launch K12 smartphone in China soon, reveals, launch date, key features and more

Oppo to launch K12 in China, resembling OnePlus Nord CE4. Features Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, 12GB RAM, 5500mAh battery, 120Hz AMOLED display, 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide sensor.

Oppo is expected to expand its smartphone lineup in China with the launch of K12 in the coming months. The company has now confirmed the launch timeline along with the design,

colour options

and key features of the smartphone.
According to some reports, the

Oppo K12

is likely a rebranded version of the

OnePlus Nord CE4

which launched earlier this month.

The same can also be confirmed with the design and key feature revealed by Oppo officially.
Oppo confirms K12 launch date
In the latest post on Weibo, Oppo has confirmed that the K12 will launch in China on April 24, 2:30 pm (12 pm IST).

The post also includes the design of the phone. Based on the images, the phone’s camera housing -- the dual camera setup with an LED flash looks similar to the OnePlus Nord CE4.
Apart from this, the handset is already available for pre-reservation via the Oppo China shop website.
Oppo has also confirmed the colour options for the K12 smartphone. According to an earlier post from the company on Weibo, the K12 will be available in two colour options -- Qingyun and Starry Night (translated from Chinese).

Based on the images posted, the colour options too look similar to the colour options of OnePlus Nord CE4 smartphone.
Other features of Oppo K12 include

Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset

paired with

12GB RAM

and up to 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone is set to be backed by a

5500mAh battery

with 100W fast charging support. The entire specification and battery details are similar to the OnePlus Nord CE4.
Considering the similarities with OnePlus Nord CE4, the K12 is likely to feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 50MP primary rear camera and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor along with a 16MP sensor at the front.
