THE BRONX (PIX11) -- Police are investigating two separate attacks that happened on MTA buses in the Bronx on May 10 that involved a metal pipe.
The first attack happened on a Bx35 bus around 2:26 p.m., according to the NYPD.
The bus was near 165th Street and 3rd Avenue when an unidentified individual hit a 31-year-old man in the head with a metal pipe. The suspect, described as a man approximately 5'11'' and 200 pounds, fled the scene.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition. Police released photos of the suspect, who was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.


The second attack happened at 11:20 p.m. on a Bx19 bus near Jennings Street and Southern Boulevard. Police say an unidentified individual approached an 18-year-old male, engaged them in a verbal dispute, and hit them in the head with a metal pipe.
The suspect, described as a man approximately 5'11'' and 200 pounds, fled the scene. He was last seen wearing a black shirt that reads "security" on the back and blue jeans.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition.
Police released the following photos of the suspect.


The NYPD could not confirm if both attacks were by the same person.
