NY is the 7th hardest state to save money in: ranking

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Saving money hasn't been easy the last few years amid high inflation. So where is it hardest?

On the West Coast, apparently. According to Forbes, California ranks as the most difficult state to save money.

It may come as no surprise, but the entire tri-state also made the list. New York is the highest in the region, coming in seventh place. Connecticut takes the eleventh spot and New Jersey is right behind it in twelfth. As far as metro areas, the New York-New Jersey-Pennsylvania area is fourth.
