AIMPLB

) has clarified that it has not extended its

in the state. Board said that it keeps itself away from parliamentary politics including supporting or opposing any political party.
In a statement issued on Sunday, AIMPLB office secretary Maulana Waqaruddin Latifi has explained board has no connection with the delegation which met former chief minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu

Naidu

in the guise of “South India

Muslim Personal Law Board

.”
He said that South India Muslim Personal Law Board has no affiliation with AIMPLB.

He said that AIMPLB, the representative platform of all muslim organizations and muslim groups in the country, is an autonomous body in Andhra Pradesh. He appealed muslims state should not be deceived by such statements. He said that since AIMPLB would not extend support or oppose any political party, there should be no misunderstanding about the statements issued in the name of the delegation which met Naidu.
