into Ansari's death.
On March 29, a judicial probe was ordered into Mukhtar Ansari’s death by the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Banda.
To recall, Mukhtar Ansari, who was imprisoned, passed away during treatment at Banda Medical College late on the night of March 28.

While Ansari's relatives accused jail authorities of poisoning him, administrative and judicial

investigation

teams were formed in response to conduct a probe.

A senior police officer added that the post-mortem report had confirmed death due to a heart attack, yet the viscera was sent to Lucknow for further investigation.

Soon, the judicial panel will question the team of doctors who treated Mukhtar Ansari two days before his admission to the medical college, and also all those who conducted his check-up on the day he died.
