Newlywed Meera Chopra talks about her bond with husband Rakshi Kejriwal: 'Every time I fall weak, he is the one person I go to'

took place in Jaipur earlier this month and now Meera has shared her thoughts on the

newlywed

experience.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Meera said that the feeling of being married hasn't fully sunk in yet.

She humorously admitted to asking others about their post-marriage feelings. She described the two-day event as a blend of joy, celebration, and cherished moments. She fondly recalled the speed with which time passed, from the elaborate functions to the heartfelt moments shared with her husband.
The 40-year-old actor also opened up about her decision to keep Rakshit's identity under wraps until the wedding, citing his preference for privacy due to his corporate background and reserved nature. Despite sharing glimpses of their journey on social media post-marriage, Meera said that Rakshit still prefers to maintain a low-profile stance, adding, “Now, his images are out, but he still wants to be away from the media spotlight.”

Talking about her bond with

Rakshit, Meera

said that he acts as her pillar of strength, brings stability, peace, and contentment into her life. "When you decide to get married to somebody, there has to be more than one reason. For me, the most important thing was that he is my strength. Every time I fall weak or I am not sure of things, he is the one person I go to. He brings stability in my life, and a sense of peace. Now, I feel content and stable. We complete each other,” she said.

Looking ahead, Meera revealed her plans for celebrating Holi with Rakshit's family for the first time across Delhi and Mumbai. "I will first go to Delhi to my place for a puja and then head back to a big celebration with my in-laws in Mumbai. We are planning to go all out this time,” she concluded.
