GRAMERCY PARK, Manhattan (PIX11) – Night owls rejoice – there will soon be a new 24-hour diner in New York City.
Diner24 is open at Third Avenue and East 22nd Street in the Gramercy area in Manhattan. The new restaurant will be open 24 hours a day starting this Friday, according to its website.
The diner serves a 24-hour breakfast, smash burgers, sandwiches, shakes, drinks and more.
Restaurateurs Stratis Morfogen and Philippe Olivier Bondon aim to keep New York’s 24-hour diner culture alive with Diner24.
“I believe in the diner experience. Even as many diners close in the city, going against the trend can be a great opportunity in New York,” Bondon said in a statement on the Diner24 website. “New York is still a vibrant, 24/7 city.”
