Nothing is gearing up to launch its most affordable smartphone yet, the Nothing Phone 2(a), in India on March 5. As excitement builds ahead of the launch, new renders of the Nothing Phone 2(a) have emerged online, revealing an all-new color option and a design distinct from previous leaks. Notably, this device marks the third smartphone release from the brand, following the debut of the Nothing Phone (1) and the Nothing Phone 2(a) under the leadership of Carl Pei.

Newly released renders showcase the Phone (2a) in two color options: gray/black and white, adhering to Nothing's tradition of offering lighter and darker hues for its devices, according to GSMArena. The design highlights dual-camera on the back, which does look like eyes, accompanied by three Glyph LEDs. Transparent back remains constant in the third Nothing Phone as well. Notably absent is wireless charging, a departure from previous models like the Nothing Phone (1) and Nothing Phone (2).

Although the display has not been shown clearly in the renders, the 2a boasts minimal bezels, maintaining Nothing's commitment to sleek design. The power and volume buttons, showcased in contrasting colors on the white variant, add a touch of visual interest.

Under the hood, Nothing has confirmed that the Phone (2a) will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC, reportedly customized specifically for Nothing's needs. Nothing Phone 2a is also expected to come in two variants. As per a report by Dealabs ,the first one has 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage, and it will cost €349 or Rs 34,000 approximately. The second version has more memory and storage - 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage. This one will cost €399, which is roughly around Rs 39,999.

Along with the smartphone, in addition to the Phone 2a, Nothing is planning to introduce two new products in India: the CMF Buds and the CMF Neckband Pro. Though there's limited information available about these products, leaks suggest they might offer innovative features to cater to different consumer needs. For software, it might run on Nothing OS 2.5, which is based on Android 14. This system is simple to use and gets updates for three years after you get the phone. We might learn more about the Phone 2a, like when it will be released and what else it can do, during the MWC 2024 event held by Nothing.
