New additions on Crunchyroll: Marginal Prince anime, English dub of Natsume's Book of Friends season 4 now available in India

Crunchyroll

has recently expanded its anime offerings in India by adding the

Marginal Prince anime

and introducing the

English dub

for the fourth season of Natsume's Book of Friends. The streaming service began showcasing the Marginal Prince anime, an adaptation of NTT Docomo's dating simulation mobile game, in India on Wednesday. Simultaneously, they commenced streaming the English-dubbed version of the fourth season of

Natsume's Book of Friends

, based on Yuki Midorikawa's manga, on Tuesday.

In addition to these announcements, Crunchyroll revealed its plans to stream the second season of the anime centered around Gunma-chan, the mascot character of Gunma Prefecture, in India.
For the Marginal Prince anime, Crunchyroll is providing the Japanese dub with English subtitles, marking the first official English release for the series, inclusive of its additional 14th episode. The original 13 episodes aired in Japan from October to December 2006, with the extra episode following in July 2007.
The narrative of Marginal Prince revolves around Yuta, who embarks on a journey to study abroad at St. Alfonso Academy, a special school for the offspring of celebrities located on a remote island. Yuta finds himself bewildered by the opulent structures and dormitories of the academy. The story takes a turn when a significant incident occurs in the school's dormitory.

The Japanese cast of the anime includes notable voice actors such as Hideo Ishikawa as Stanislav Sokurov, Hiroshi Okamoto as Haruya Kobayashi, and Hisayoshi Suganuma as Yuuta. The original work is credited to Mayuto Morimoto, with Tomohisa Kai contributing the original character draft. Takayuki Inagaki directed the anime, and animation production was handled by Studio T&B, Tokyo Kids, and GONZO. Character design for the anime was crafted by Toshiko Sasaki.

The Marginal Prince anime is an adaptation of the dating simulation mobile game released by NTT Docomo in Japan in August 2005. Crunchyroll's latest additions provide Indian audiences with an enhanced and diverse anime viewing experience, bringing both established and new titles to the forefront of the streaming platform.
