NEW YORK (PIX11) – Nathan's Famous is looking to find the Ultimate New Yorker, who could win $1,000 and a free supply of hot dogs for a year.
"There seem to be a lot of fakes out there these days, so we want to highlight the real ones," the company posted to its website.
Anyone interested in entering the contest can nominate themselves or friends by posting a video on Instagram and TikTok about why they should be considered the Ultimate New Yorker. All videos need to include tags for the person you’re nominating and @originalnathansfranks along with using the hashtags #NathansUltimateNYer and #contest, according to Nathan's Famous.
The winner will be announced on July 16, which is National Hot Dog Day. For more information on the contest, click here.
