Congress national spokesperson Gourav Vallabh joined the BJP on Thursday, hours after he quit the Congress. Calling the party "directionless", he also cited in his resignation letter that he cannot raise anti-Sanatan slogans nor abuse 'wealth creators' day in and day out. Speaking to India Today, he accused the Congress of remaining silent when the alliance partners attacked Sanatana and also stated that the party's refusal to skip the opening ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was a "sin", adding that the "reward for sin has to be faced in this life itself".
