. According to him, Mithun's health has improved recently. Earlier this year, Mithun was hospitalised in Kolkata for treatment related to Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident, commonly known as a stroke.
Namashi, in an interview with Celebrania Studios, shared that when his father scolded him recently, he initially worried about his health.

However, he realised that if his father was condemning him, it meant that he was in good health.
Namashi further revealed their unique family dynamic, stating that neither he nor his siblings, Mahaakshay, Dishani, and Ushmey, refer to their father as "dad." Instead, they share a more casual and friendly relationship, addressing him by his name, Mithun. He described their interaction as having a friendly banter, emphasizing that they've always maintained this informal rapport, viewing each other more as friends than traditional parent-child roles.
When questioned about the origin of this familial practice, Namashi disclosed that it was Mithun himself who initiated it. He explained, "Dad started it, he said please don’t call me papa. Just call me Mithun."
