The trailer of the horror-comedy ‘Munjya’ is now out. Brought by the makers of ‘Stree' and ‘Bhediya’, this one will introduce the audience to India’s CGI actor ‘Munjya’. The trailer showcases him in all his glory, tormenting the lead in search of his Munni. Set to be released in theatres on June 7, 2024, it is a story about Munjya, who deals with the obsession of love, in a horror story based on folklore.

In the trailer, Abhay Verma becomes the one who is possessed by Munjya. While he can see him, he also has to make others believe that all the mischief happening around him is not his doing, nor is he on drugs. There is also Mona Singh, who plays his mother, and Sharvari Wagh playing his love interest.

Talking about the trailer, Dinesh Vijan said, “At the heart of it, this is Munjya’s love story, and it’s about his first love - Munni. However, he doesn’t get her! If you’ve ever had an obsessive lover or obsessed over anybody, you will understand his POV. If not his, Munni’s for sure, he jokingly adds. Munjya is technologically the most advanced CGI actor out there in India, and we are very proud of it. It definitely is going to be a spectacle for children, gen next and the whole family.”

Starring Sharvari, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma, and Sathyaraj, the film was helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar. The film will release in cinemas on June 7, 2024.
